Photo Diary: Zion National Park

This past spring, I was lucky enough to visit Utah for a week. I was awestruck by the landscape. I live in Michigan where it is flat with lots of greenery and lakes, so Utah was defiantly a change of scenery with the desert and the mountains. With 5 national parks and even more state parks, the only thing I planned on doing was hiking. Even though I wasn't able to visit all 5 national parks, I was able to visit two of them: Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Zion National Park was absolutely stunning. The mountains (or are they called red rocks?!?) were vibrant colors ranging from red to white; I felt like I was in a postcard! I researched some trails before going there and I saw that The Narrows was one of the most popular hikes; you basically hike in the Virgin River. Sadly I couldn't do that hike beacuse the trail was closed due to high current, just my luck! But there were plenty other trails to hike with incredibly views; bellow is a photo diary of some of my favorite pictures from Zion.
